Tasman Holiday Park Kalbarri

This is our favourite caravan park in Kalbarri. We have stayed here twice, both times camping in a tent. Each site can host up to 6 people. There are options for powered, unpowered and beachfront sites for both caravans and tents. There are also 2-bedroom cabins available at the caravan park for those who want the camping experience but don’t have a caravan or tent.

Located right across from the popular pelican feeding, Tasman Holiday Park Kalbarri has easy access to local cafes and is also pet friendly. There are ensuite style amenity blocks for your use as well as a children’s playground and campers kitchen.

Kalbarri Red Bluff Tourist Park

Just outside of town, Kalbarri Red Bluff Tourist Park is located right next to Red Bluff beach. You’ll find something for every budget here including:

Kalbarri Anchorage Holiday Village

Murchison House Station

Please note: Murchison House Station is only open for camping from April – October each year.

Murchison station is located 12 km east of Kalbarri, accessed via a 4km gravel road. It is the perfect place to camp if you’re looking to immerse yourself in nature. There are no cabins to stay at here, this is a location for people looking to camp in their personal caravan or tent.

Free Camping in Kalbarri

There are no free campsites in the town of Kalbarri or in the Kalbarri National Park. However, the closest ones are:

Galena Bridge Rest Area

Located 1 hour outside of Kalbarri, there is both a Galena Bridge Camp Area North & South. This is a suitable campground for self-contained campers and features wheelchair-accessible facilities, picnic tables and open fire pits.

Here you can enjoy swimming in the river or fishing from the banks. It can get busy during peak times so make sure to arrive early if you’re travelling around this time.

Ajana Roadside Stop

This is a great spot for an overnight stay when travelling around Kalbarri. There are no facilities here so you’ll need to be fully self-contained.
